Section outline

    • The second part of the PSsmile course is dedicated to the illustration of the curriculum framework and teaching strategies devised to improve parents, teachers and students socio-emotional competencies.

The course follows the structure devised within the PSsmile project, which divides the socio-emotional competencies within 4 domains and 2 overarching components:

      1. Self-awareness

      2. Social awareness

      3. Self-management

      4. Relationships skills

The overarching components are called "Responsible Decision-Making"  and "Time perspective". They aim to build a future-oriented mindset that helps participants take responsible decisions and behaviours.

Going through Part 2, parents and teachers will increase their socio-emotional competences and they will learn some exercises to adopt with children either in class or at school.

Module 2 involves an introductory chapter, illustrating the curriculum framework and a specific chapter for each domain, proposing some exercises that participants will be invited to do on their own before adopting them in class.
